“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
Family Promise allows communities to develop comprehensive, holistic solutions for families facing homelessness. Families come when they are in crisis; our approach of coordinated compassion helps them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.
Gwinnett Community Church will offer our resources and congregation as hosts to families participating in Family Promise various weeks throughout the year.

The Dental Mission Team was formed to help with local missions. We saw the need in our community for dental services and felt we could help. Since 2006 we have hosted a Free Dental Clinic to provide dental services to those in our community living under the State poverty level. This clinic has provided a variety of additional services, including a clothes closet, food and Bible giveaways, as well as other health resources. Click for 2025 Dental Clinic flyer.

After serving 20+ years as the founding pastor of Gwinnett Community Church, Dave (and Peggy) launched TeamMates in Ministry, a unique and desperately needed ministry of hospitality and encouragement to pastors and missionary couples.
Their mission is to lavish the love of God on the servants of God, so they can be refreshed to better fulfill the call of God on their lives.
To date, hundreds of ministry couples have been welcomed into their Lilburn home for extended times of rest and renewal. The TeamMates guestbooks are full of testimonies of servants of God returning to their assignments with fresh vision and passion for God, and for their ministry, marriage and life.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. We at GCC participate each year by providing shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, which for many kids, is their first gift ever and gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.
In addition to purchasing items and packing shoeboxes to collect at the church, we at GCC also get to volunteer locally at the Operation Christmas Child Packing center where all the collected boxes from all the churches and individuals in the area are inspected and packed up to be shipped around the world to kids in need. Contact Elbie Ancona for more information or more ways you might help with this ministry at GCC.
